French healthcare SaaS startup Faks has secured €6 million in its latest funding round to enhance its AI-powered platform that centralizes and streamlines administrative tasks for pharmacies.
The round was led by Speedinvest, with participation from Connect Ventures, Seedcamp, and FJ Labs.
Simplifying Pharmacy Operations
Faks offers a centralized platform that facilitates interactions between pharmacies, laboratories, and pharmacy groups. Its solution includes a mobile and web application that helps pharmacies manage supplier relations, handle complaints, process expired medication returns, and coordinate commercial operations—all within a single interface.
For laboratories, Faks provides tools to oversee customer relationships, improve client satisfaction, and enhance commercial efficiency. The platform prioritizes neutrality, modularity, and security, ensuring compliance with European data regulations.
Currently, Faks serves over 17,000 pharmacies, 500 laboratories, and 130 pharmacy groups, demonstrating its widespread adoption in the pharmaceutical industry.
Scaling R&D and Expanding to Spain & Italy
With the fresh funding, Faks plans to double its R&D team – growing from 7 to 15 employees – and expand internationally, focusing on Spain and Italy.
“This funding marks a key milestone for Faks. After bringing together major industry players on one platform that simplifies their interactions, we are now investing heavily in our technology to help them save even more time and focus on what matters most: their patients.”
– Corentin Geoffray, CEO & Co-founder of Faks
Investor Confidence in AI-Driven Efficiency
Speedinvest sees significant potential in Faks’ ability to automate pharmacy back-office tasks and optimize supplier interactions.
“The growing diversification of pharmacies’ activities, on top of their most important role of advising patients, has left little time to manage back-office operations. We see a huge potential in centralizing all their supplier interactions in a single platform and automating tedious—yet strategic—tasks with AI. ”
– Wissam Nasreddine, Principal at Speedinvest.
With AI-driven automation and a growing market presence, Faks is well-positioned to reshape pharmaceutical operations across Europe.
